Founder, President
Yolanda Feagans
Yolanda Feagans is dedicated to developing nonprofit strategies to help the youth and community. Be Elevated Inc. is a journey in which she is embarking on to contribute in changing the narrative amongst the youth to learn and grow.
Yolanda has participated in programs aimed at providing support in the form of educating, mentoring, and servicing.
She volunteers in schools in the athletics and music departments, helping with a variety of tasks including fundraising, organizing, communication amongst parents, and providing support directly to the youth. Organizations she has partnered with are Modern Woodmen of America, Welborn Baptist Church, Washington High School Athletics Dept. (Cheer Squad, Marching Band, and Dance Squad) Her ability to offer her services has helped assist with a need to be met.
Yolanda is a mother and a wife who tries to provide the best support possible to her children and spouse by staying involved in the day to day activities at home, school, and work environments. Because she lives in a community that is underserved she wants to ensure that Be Elevated Inc. can be a part of that support that the youth and community needs.

Nicole Douglas-Price
Nicole is a dedicated and passionate advocate for BeElevated, Inc. With a heart for encouraging, inspiring, and empowering young girls and young ladies through support and encouragement to be the absolute best version of themselves despite life challenges. Nicole Shénea brings a wealth of organizational and administrative expertise to the role of Secretary at BeElevated, Inc.
In their role, Nicole ensures that meetings are meticulously documented, records are accurately maintained, and communication within the organization flows seamlessly. Their attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills have been instrumental in streamlining our processes and enhancing our overall efficiency.
Before joining BeElevated., Nicole gained valuable experience in the local school district, not only an employee but, as a past PTA President, local Church organizations, Co-Chair in special events, active member in ministry, teaching on special days and an active choir member. where they developed strong skills in communication, interpersonal skills, confidentiality, adaptability, team collaboration, customer service skills, problem solving skills etc. Their commitment to “Living the Golden rule; OUTLOUD” towards others have made them an invaluable asset to our team.
Outside of their professional responsibilities, Nicole is actively involved in local gospel stage play productions, church singing ministry, previously Habitat for Humanity, a strong believer in maintaining and encouraging a work life balance. They believe in the power of collective effort and are dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.
Nicole looks forward to continuing their journey with BeElevated, Inc. and contributing to the success and growth of our mission.

Teresa Carmona
I am Teresa Carmona, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, and an alumnus of Bishop Ward Catholic High School. I was raised in Wyandotte County, Kansas, and I embody the spirit of a proud mother, daughter, and Latina.
My drive to support others stems from a deep-rooted passion for service and lending a helping hand whenever needed.
My focus on my family and friends has extended to my community, where I volunteer tirelessly and contribute to the success of this program. My efforts are a testament to my commitment to making a positive impact.
I love to remind my son that, “It doesn’t hurt to give someone a smile and say hello.” I live by these words as I am always ready with a smile, a laugh, and a dose of positivity for anyone who needs it. My infectious positivity and unwavering support make me a pillar of strength and a cherished member of my community.
One of my favorite quotes is from Frida Kahlo: "No hay nada mas hermoso que la sonrisa," which translates to "There is nothing more beautiful than a smile."

Alma Allums
Alma Allums is the founder and principal coach at Allums Publishing, where she empowers individuals and organizations to embrace authenticity, navigate transitions, and grow with purpose. Originally from Kansas City, Alma brings a rich background in finance and sales, paired with a deep passion for nonprofit work and community upliftment.

After 4 years in corporate leadership roles, Alma felt called to pivot—channeling her experience and heart for service into transformative coaching. Her journey has been rooted in faith, family, and a commitment to helping others unlock their full potential. As a proud sister and daughter to many, she leads with warmth, empathy, and wisdom.
When she’s not coaching, Alma can be found roller skating, studying, traveling, or deeply involved in her church community.
Her life is a reflection of the values she teaches: authenticity, connection, and courageous action.
